Cookie Policy

Cookies and local storage let a site remember information in your browser. Bkwrm uses essential storage and, only with permission, analytics storage.

Supabase authentication storage keeps you signed in and protects account requests. The bkwrm_consent cookie records the policy version and your analytics choice for six months. Essential storage cannot be switched off through the consent panel because the service and your privacy choice would not work reliably without it.

If you accept analytics, PostHog records limited product events such as page views and feature use to help us understand and improve Bkwrm. PostHog does not initialise, store identifiers or capture events before consent. We do not use analytics for advertising.

Accept analytics and Reject analytics are equally available in the consent panel. Use the persistent Cookie settings link to change your choice. Rejecting or withdrawing calls PostHog opt-out and reset behaviour and removes PostHog persistence from local and session storage.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal and no preference is stored, Bkwrm initially rejects optional analytics. You can still choose differently through Cookie settings.

Server-side PostHog events use the same consent preference and are suppressed without analytics consent. Anonymous daily AI token totals are internal operational cost telemetry, contain no prompts or student content, and are not optional analytics cookies.

The consent preference lasts six months. Authentication duration depends on your session and security events. Material changes to this policy use a new version and may prompt you to choose again.
